Operations Assistant

**Duties**:
- Provides direction and oversight to lower level clerks. Distributes and balances workload among lower level clerks in accordance with established workflow.
- Monitors the status and progress of work, and make day
- to
- day adjustments in accordance with established priorities, obtaining assistance from the supervisor on problems that may arise.
- Instruct employees in specific tasks and job techniques and make available written instructions, reference materials and supplies.
- Conduct on the job training to lower level clerks and new employees in accordance with established procedures and practices.
- Maintain an extensive knowledge of operations, procedures, policies, and judgment in seeking guidance and direction from immediate supervisor. Escalate complex issues to immediate supervisor.

- Ability to work occasional Saturdays for special events
- Must be able to receive all mandated immunizations to work in a direct-patient capacity and/or veterinary environment
- Must not have an aversion to animals, blood, bodily fluids, animal tissues, strong odors, needles, or sharp instruments.

**Qualifications**:
**Minimum Qualifications**:
- Progressively work experience which demonstrates the knowledge and skills required to perform the duties of the position.
- Basic computer skills to include proficiency in Microsoft Suite or equivalent.
- Experience in using a point of sales software.
- Basic arithmetic expertise to balance cash draw, accept payments and provide change accurately.
- Typing proficiency - 40WPM.
**Highly Preferred Criteria**:
- Clerical experience in a Veterinary Clinic or equivalent or working in an outpatient medical facility/operations as clerical-administrative support.
- Ability to lift 40 lbs and long periods of standing, restraining, kneeling, reaching and sitting, etc

Salary is pro-rated based on a 40 hour work week. Hourly salary is:
- NF-03 $15.61ph to $16.00ph ($32,578.00 to $33,392.00 Per Year)**Manual Applications**:
