ARDI leads programming across a wide variety of development projects, including expertise in peacebuilding, women’s empowerment, capacity building, civil society strengthening, political participation, economic empowerment, technical research, awareness-raising, and the amplification of diverse voices.

ARDI is seeking a Programs Coordinator who will engage, lead, and collaborate across programmatic and communications arenas within the organization. The Programs Coordinator role will coordinate between the ARDI field staff working inside of Syria and other locations of project implementation, and the programming team at the HQ level. The role will support the oversight and implementation of projects within ARDI’s current programmatic portfolio, including developing tools and resources related to the logístical framework of achieving project aims, completing formal and informal project reporting, meeting donor deliverable requirements, designing training curriculum related to thematic issue areas, providing technical guidance and support on behalf of field-based partners and beneficiaries, conducting monitoring and evaluation efforts across the scope of the project, conducting learning and reflection sessions, tracking challenges, needs, and achievements based on project data findings, and overseeing the project implementation and logístical efforts conducted on the ground by field-team staff members. This position reports to and works closely with the Executive Director, Director of Programs, Finance Manager, and Operations Manager to meet our objectives in collaboration with other relevant members of the ARDI team, including the Senior Programs Coordinator.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

The primary duties and responsibilities of the Programs Coordinator include, but not limited to:
**Programming**
- Support the design and implement practical programming approaches to complex international development issues.
- Contribute to research and teaching of local atmospheric changes in local geographic contexts to aid in the development of written materials or contributions to meetings.
- Draft, review, and copy edit project deliverables to meet project requirements.
- Track project progress and requirements to ensure correct submissions based on project timelines and expectations.
- Support the design project-related materials, including training curriculum, project tools and templates, and systematic approaches related to each specific project.
- Support the fostering of partnerships and network development efforts, including resource and stakeholder mapping, to help increase collaboration and opportunities.
- Support monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning efforts across all projects to identify and address trends, challenges, needs, achievements, etc.
- Assist in tracking financial reports and other project submissions from the field office and local Civil Society Organizations (CSOs).
- Other relevant tasks and efforts, as agreed upon.

**Coordination**
- Provide oversight, technical guidance, and coordination in support of the ARDI field-based teams and the ARDI HQ-based teams to ensure quality and timely implementation of direct project activities.
- Prepare and track field-based scheduling efforts and responsibility delegation among field-based staff members.
- Oversee and guide logístical efforts related to field office maintenance and coordination with other local stakeholders to ensure the smooth running of field-based activities alongside ARDI colleagues at the field or HQ levels.
- Coordinate the scheduling and planning of calls for training, workshops, meetings, and other relevant activities for project activities and ARDI internal efforts.
- Other relevant tasks and efforts, as agreed upon.

**EDUCATION, TECHNICAL SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE**
- Bachelor's degree (masters degree considered an advantage) in public administration, international development, public policy, international affairs, humanitarian sector, and/or other relevant fields.
- 3-5 years of experience in public administration, international development, public policy, international affairs, humanitarian sector, and/or other relevant fields.
