**Our Corporate Affairs & Strategy (CA&S) division is dedicated to bringing strategy and stakeholder engagement closer together, enhancing our ability to enable business and inform strategic decisions. CA&S consists of 5 functions with a global presence: Strategy & CEO Office, Communications & CSR, Government & Public Affairs, Regulatory & Exam Management and Global Brand & Marketing.

**Position Overview:
**The Strategic Development Specialist holds a central role within the Corporate Affairs & Strategy (CA&S) division, providing multifaceted support to the Global Head of CA&S. This role encompasses a wide range of responsibilities, serving as a strategic advisor, project manager, and the voice of the Global Head, playing an important part in steering the division’s course. As an "air traffic controller" within the organization, the specialist will have their ear to the ground, understanding the pulse of the organization to inform and execute strategic decisions, while also broadcasting communications and embodying the division's culture.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Co-own and contribute to the development of Corporate Affairs & Strategy alongside the Global Head of CA&S, with a keen eye on internal (divisional and group-level) and external developments
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement, employing advanced negotiation skills to balance diverse interests and achieve sustainable outcomes, especially in everyday micro-negotiations.
- Serve as a strategic advisor, offering insights and guidance to inform the Global Heads decisions and the division's strategic direction, while also providing proactive risk radaring and thoughtful impulses.
- Own and manage projects efficiently, ensuring timely completion and alignment with the divisional and group-level objectives, and explore opportunities to infuse innovative practices within CA&S.
- Act as the communicative link between the Global Head and the rest of the organization, effectively conveying developments and decisions
- Support the Global Head in his stakeholder engagements and pursue thought leadership opportunities internally and externally to contribute the positioning of the Global Head
- Represent the Global Head and the division in various capacities, both internally and externally, while also championing cultural aspirations, information sharing and continuous learning.

**Qualifications**:

- Adept at stakeholder management, with the finesse to navigate a multifaceted stakeholder environment and support the Global Head's objectives within a complex organizational structure
- Strong project management skills with a track record of successful project delivery, paired with strong intrinsic motivation to develop the CA&S division
- Acute awareness of organizational dynamics, strong emphatic skills and people knowledge paired with the ability to use this knowledge to influence strategic decisions
- Exceptional communication abilities (in English and German language), capable of articulating complex dynamics to a variety of audiences and engaging with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated negotiation skills, with experience in managing stakeholder relationships and achieving consensus, essential for the division's long-term success.
