**Responsibilities**:
- Strategic vision: Develop and present category strategies, leveraging key performance indicators to drive decision-making.
- Optimization for Efficiency: Implement and manage logistics and packaging optimization projects, embracing electronic procurement and driving cost savings.
- Negotiation for Success: Excel in tender processing and contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms for our organization.
- Minimizing Costs: Analyze costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction to enhance our competitive advantage.
- Information Management: Maintain accurate supplier and pricing information while contributing to interdisciplinary purchasing projects.
- Supplier Management: Establishing, maintaining and further developing strategic partnerships in the international supplier market.
**Qualifications**:
- Education: Completed university degree or comparable educational training, ideally with a specialization in strategic purchasing
- Experience: Relevant experience in contract and freight logistics with notable results will be highly advantageous. Knowledge within Packaging Category is a plus
- Skills: SAP knowledge(MM), FST Contract Management Software & Supplier Portal, German and English Business-level, other languages are welcomed, project management
- Passion for travel: approx. 20%
