**Job Description**:
With the merger our ways of handling M&A change to be more independent as well as the number of involved stakeholders and shareholders changes and for that reason, we are to grow our M&A resources in the DACH region.
Working for us, you’ll become part of an exciting growth journey. We’ve set out to make it easier and more intuitive to handle payments because we see it as the foundation for growth and progress both in commerce and society.
Joining us at our location in Frankfurt, Germany, you will be part of our M&A setup covering the DACH region, which will consist of 2-3 employees. Together, you will be responsible for driving all M&A projects across this area and you will be reporting to our Head of M&A for DACH region.
Drawing on your experience you work with the team in their close collaboration with the business and top management in Nets and Nexi Group. Doing so, you will work on mergers, acquisitions, divestments, joint ventures and strategic partnerships
Taking part in all aspects of the process, you will:
- Contribute to the team and support mutually in your work, discussing project handling and solutions- Evaluate the attractiveness and viability of M&A and other opportunities- Support in managing internal stakeholders across business groups and functions ensuring alignment as you explain processes and create buy-in- Participate in setting direction for transactions and negotiate with third parties- Participate in handling external stakeholders such as law firms, investment banks and counterparties, handling negotiations, process agreements and contract developments for the region- Support in preparing decision material for top management and board of directors**Qualifications**:

Your professional qualifications include:
- A master’s degree in business administration, finance, economics, law or similar- Proven M&A / corporate finance experience - experience from the finance/payment industry will be considered an advantage- Excellent M&A execution track record- Exposure to the tech sector and a very good network across relevant industries, situations and companies within the DACH region- International experience- +5 years of experience from a similar position within corporate finance, payment, corporate development or M&A- That you are native German-speaking and are fluent as well in EnglishBesides that little twist in your personality that makes you, we are looking for a colleague who:
- Are a self-starter and entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate effectively in a joint-stock company- Having a strong endurance and result orientation- Have highly intercultural flexibility as well as being strong within collaboration and the influencing skills- Has a track record in building and developing high-performance teams- Experience with portfolio structuring will be considered an advantageAdditional Information
