**Your Tasks**:

- You will lead the Product Development and Program Management teams and take responsibility for new projects to be developed in EMEA and GHQ cooperation
- You support and foster the development of team members
- You create standards for development, validation and test-plans and specifications, especially for new product developments (including Hard
- and Software development / mechatronics)
- You define the interface for handover of new product concepts coming out of the ideation phase in NBD team
- You establish the EMEA region’s role in the global development network and define the interfaces and standards for development in global projects. Align a cooperation model for new product development together with GHQ (work packages / RASIC and processes / standards)
- You develop a project specific resource planning tool as well as Responsibility to create the engineering budget by program and year
- You define KPIs for project reporting as well as align the measures to establish a clear review structure for ongoing projects together with Director QMS and align related process changes with OEL and GHQ
- Your tasks include building relationships / networks to external development partners for potential outsourcing of work packages within project developments
- You follow up on technology trends in the market and benchmark competitor’s products

**Your Profile**:

- You have a degree in engineering (electrical / mechanical / mechatronics)
- An additional MBA or commercial degree is beneficial
- You have experience (min. 5 years) in leading Automotive development projects at Tier1 suppliers for complex products
- You also have experience (min. 5 years) in leading product development teams
- You have a good understanding of automotive architectures/systems
- You are proactive and results-oriented, have the ability to plan and coordinate development activities and are a team player with good communication skills
- Very good German and English skills
