Solution and Enterprise Architect

The role

As a Solution Architect, you are part of Mercedes Benz Customer Solutions IT Team that is also responsible for the Migration, Hosting, and Development & Operations of Application/Services, Infrastructures mainly based on Microsoft Azure.

You can expect exciting projects in agile environment in which you can help shape processes and Solutions.

You will have a chance to work with the latest technologies and Opportunity to actively contribute your ideas for innovation.

**Responsibilities**:
Analysis, discussion of innovative, functional, often cross-departmental processes, evaluation, and piloting if necessary.

Consulting Technical Owners, Developers analyzing requirements, creating concepts and technical management during the implementation up to the transition to day-to-day business.

Ensure future scalability and cost-efficient maintainability of the IT solutions and architecture considering how market conditions and technology evolve.

**Qualifikationen**:
Personal skills
- Computer science or equivalent degree
- Several years of experience in designing and developing complex Applications, software architectures, technology stacks and cloud services and cloud infrastructures such as IaaS, PaaS, or SaaS
- You already have knowledge of working with Scripted Infrastructure (e.g. with Terraform, arm templates), with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. with Azure DevOps pipelines) and/or container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) Application Solution design on both premise and cloud
- Knowledge of the programming languages c#, Java, JavaScript or Spring Boot desirable
- Strong analytical skills, and problem solving and technical innovation
- Understanding of business and IT process areas (e.g. Finance/Controlling, Supply Chain, etc.) is a benefit
- You have the potential and willingness to think outside the box and learning new technologies
- Business fluent in spoken and written English and German (C1 level or higher certification preferred in non-native language); further language skills are welcome
