**Job Description**:
GfK’s MI business has grown solidly and successfully over decades, nevertheless, there are still opportunities to broaden the business base, create more granular data views and unearth hidden treasures. Examples hereto are
- a lack of regional & country coverage
- opportunities in new territories
- the emergence of new offer forms such as leasing or refurbished products
- the emergence of new distribution channels e.g., direct to consumer or social commerce
- more granular data feeds GfK receives that will allow deeper granularity and different perspectives
- the role is about is to convert opportunities into suggestions for profitable future product enhancements, new product launches and scalable offerings
- systematically identifying and analyzing white & sweet spots and evaluating the business opportunity related.
- Running POCs together with country/regional stakeholders, complement methodical aspects where necessary, generate best practices and being accountable for the associated project management

Main Responsibilities
- leading the Business Development Team in MI Product
- building a pipeline of opportunities, evaluate and provide fact-based suggestion on priorities
- explore business opportunities within the wider field of MI solutions
- explore and analyze customer needs and how customers are currently satisfying their information needs
- identification of potential competitors, their offering and carrying out strengths and weaknesses analysis of potential GfK solutions compared to current customer and/or competitor solutions
- creation and evaluation of business plans including existing or achievable GfK USPs.
- steer and lead projects from the ideation phase to stakeholder aligned project plan through to the corresponding POCs, ultimately to the market launch in close collaboration with global/regional/country stakeholders
- monitor the blueprint adequate implementation and measuring business success from launch over the next 3 years
- support of the national organizations to transfer solutions to their country and to overcome the first hurdles
- act as the main point of contact within GfK for your projects, able to troubleshoot and support the operations and commercial organization on an ongoing basis.
- working with GfK communities to ensure current and future clients across the globe gain full value from new offerings
- support Global Sales in Go-To-Market. Ensure commercial engagements are supported based on consistent use of best practices across the commercial community
- together with Global Learning ensure relevant and impactful internal training program in place to empower the commercial organization
- establish GfK as a thought leader on new territories. Working together with GfK’s Strategic Insights to produce cutting-edge thought leadership and insights for newly developed opportunities.
- ensuring that client platform Product Heads are informed early about potentially new requirements
