**For the expansion of our Seagull Team in Berlin, we are looking for a dedicated and qualified Business Controller Germany (M/F/d)**
**Where your expertise is needed**:
- Local financial lead for the Seagull JV also supporting the asset management lead
- Ultimately responsible for financial controlling, fixed asset accounting, cash management and reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial and operational reporting for Seagull. Ensuring compliancy by third party providers on tax and VAT reporting and local statutory reporting requirements
- Core-team member of international cross-functional Seagull team
- Coordinator and administrator of external financial providers, including auditors and other partners
- Provide oversight and direction to the external partners in accordance with the organization's goals, policies, and procedures and in line with core values of the Company: Care, Dare and Share
- Motivate external partners to deliver high quality results in line with scope of service
- Support Seagull management team and Group in any aspect related to reporting of business activities in Seagull
- Contribute and be a discussion partner in relation to other business processes, including transactions, acquisitions, business cases etc.
- Coordinate and ensure efficient local audits aligned with internal Group timeline.
- Support on ad hoc topics
- Adhere to the Risk Policy and risk framework provided from Group and be responsible of driving the continuous risk management process for Seagull
- Ensure accuracy and monitor changes and status on risk responses. Responsible for reporting risks on quarterly and annual basis. Ensure that requirements for insurance companies are considered in the risk assessment
- Continuously develop and optimize internal control procedures and business processes
- Ensuring strong collaboration with all relevant business partners and other departments and functions
- Be a good ambassador for the Group, acting according to group work processes, guidelines, and values
- Have close dialog with the German team to ensure an efficient transfer of knowledge
- What we’re looking for:
- Minimum 7 years of experience from a similar role, preferably in international business environment and exposure to reporting requirements for publicly listed companies
- Experience from working with the majority or all processes within accounting, reporting, tax, and corporate compliance requirements
- Solid IT knowledge and interest in ERP systems. Experience from working with projects and process development
- University degree/M Sc in business administration, accounting or similar
- Strong business acumen with capabilities and interest to further develop the company. Successful track record from projects including establishing structure and processes. Experience from building and leading teams by example with excellent results
**What we’re looking for**:
- Excellent German and English skills are mandatory
- Minimum 7 years of experience from a similar role, preferably in international business environment and exposure to reporting requirements for publicly listed companies

- Solid IT knowledge and interest in ERP systems. Experience from working with projects and process development
- University degree / MSC in business administration, accounting or similar
