We are Fugro Germany Land GmbH, a leading provider of geospatial solutions. We are looking for a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Land Service Controller and Business Partner.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and international environment, supporting our business lines and ensuring strong internal financial control. As a Service Line Controller, you will provide financial guidance to the business, mainly for the Service Lines in the Land Division. This includes project controlling, planning, reporting, closing (according to IFRS), and controlling.

You will report to the Regional Business Line Controller and work closely with the Shared Service Centre, Local, Regional, and Group teams in the Netherlands. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing financial guidance to the business, mainly for the Service Lines in the Land Division
  • Leading project controlling for the Service Lines in cooperation with the Regional Project Controller in the Netherlands
  • Supporting planning, reporting, closing (according to IFRS), and controlling in cooperation with the Regional Business Line Controller and preparing the monthly reporting
  • Establishing relationships and forums with the business, project controllers, and finance team to efficiently coordinate and manage end-to-end finance activities
  • Ensuring that appropriate accounting policies and financial controls are in place for the projects, by driving and initiating process improvements and proper documentation thereof
  • Shaping finance controlling activities with necessary end-to-end knowledge within the organization and ensuring that new ways of working get embedded
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled professional with a Master's degree in finance and accounting or equivalent. Relevant working experience of 5-8 years, preferably in project controlling, is required. Experience from an international company is beneficial. Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Basic accounting skills and good working-knowledge of IFRS
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics / Navision or other ERP systems is an advantage
  • Strong in Excel and MS Office
  • Analytical skills and affinity for financial topics and project risks
  • Proactive, accurate, and well-developed communication skills
  • Strong communication skills, solution orientation as well as entrepreneurial and holistic thinking
  • Team player
  • Excellent command of English and German, both spoken and written
What We Offer

Fugro Germany Land GmbH offers a competitive salary of approximately €65,000 - €85,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as flexible working hours and a pleasant, dynamic, international working environment.
