**Responsibilities**:

- Support of the subsidiaries, both production sites and sales locations, and R&D in ensuring the marketability of SurTec products
- Preparation of product classification and categorization in accordance with hazardous substances and dangerous goods legislation
- Support for new product launches and changes in cooperation with the R&D department
- Preparation of safety data sheets
- Definition, implementation and advancement of internal processes in the area of material compliance management
- Creation of master recipes, answering customer inquiries, issuing confirmations (e.g. EU-ROHS, REACh, SVHC)
- Ensuring the REACh conformity of imports
- Supporting the subsidiaries with product registrations and notifications
- Contact for international hazardous substances and chemicals legislation in relation to test raw materials; support and cooperation with the Health, Safety, Security, Environment (HSSE) department
- Training of managers, multipliers and employees

**Qualifications**:

- Degree in chemistry or related field of study
- Experience with regulations in the field of international hazardous substances and chemicals legislation (e.g. REACh/CLP/UN-GHS) an advantage
- Ability to quickly familiarize yourself with a new topic and to advance a variety of different topics and projects in parallel in a structured manner
- Analytical thinking as well as conscientious and independent way of working
- Very good MS-Office skills
- Business fluent in written and spoken English, additional foreign language if required
