**Duties**:

- Provides expert advice on the European telecommunications and SIGINT environment as well as regional adversary and threat communications TTPs, methods, and equipment; identifies exploitation solutions using national to tactical SIGINT capabilities.
- Leads local analysis and production efforts to include development of SIGINT derived targets of interest; secure proper and timely support for assigned and deployed SIGINT forces.
- Evaluates technical SIGINT information that could affect U.S. interests. Researches, develops, writes, and reviews SIGINT reports, briefings, and policies.

- Two year trial/probationary period may be required.
- In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
- Must be willing to undergo and successfully complete a counterintelligence-scope polygraph examination with No Deception Indicated (NDI) on a pre-appointment and periodic basis.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET (TS) security clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) based on a T5 (or equivalent) investigation.
- Requires Temporary Duty (TDY) travel up to 20% of the time.
- Designated Emergency Essential Position: This position is considered essential to support Army's mobilization and wartime mission during periods of increasing tension or mobilization. See additional information section.

- Priority Placement Program, DoD Retained Grade Preference Eligible- To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience equivalent to the GG/GS- [12] that prepared you to do this job. Specialize experience is defined and experience which includes experience in SIGINT analysis and reporting directives, and/or procedural guidelines to independently perform routine operational or reporting functions of SIGINT Operations. This definition of specialize experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level in the Federal service.
- Progressively responsible experience is that which has included intelligence-related research, analysis, collections and /or operations. This experience should have included intelligence analysis and/or production, intelligence collection and/or operations, counterintelligence, or threat support directly related to the position to be filled. This experience should demonstrate: Knowledge of intelligence processes, cycle, and organizations; Knowledge of and/or ability to use research tools such as library holdings, photographs, statistics, graphics, and maps; Knowledge of the systems, procedures, and methods of analyzing, compiling, reporting and disseminating intelligence data; and/or Knowledge of organization(s) for and methods of collecting and analyzing intelligence data.

- Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) Analysis and Production
- Technical Competence
