Cognizant has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and collaborative **Account Executive - Manufacturing and Logistics (d/f/m)** to join our welcoming team. This Account Executive - Manufacturing and Logistics (d/f/m) hybrid role is based in Frankfurt, Munich or other locations in Germany and offers a favourable salary and benefits.

As an Account Executive - Manufacturing and Logistics (d/f/m) at Cognizant, it will be your responsibility to generate leads, build funnel and a qualified pipeline in the target segment of Manufacturing, Logistics, Retail, Consumer Goods, Travel and Hospitality. You will also help in expanding business in large Enterprise clients in these sectors in Germany.

In your first few weeks in this Account Executive - Manufacturing and Logistics (d/f/m) role, you can expect to:

- Work with the Business Unit head to identify target logos in the target segment
- Make cold calls and use other channels like Technology OEM partners, TPAs to create qualified pipeline for Cognizant services
- Develop insights into prospective client’s organization structure, business, and IT strategy
- Work closely with different teams to build a winnable value proposition to bring new business in
- Lead and / or be part of the end-to-end in the tender process including negotiations and closure.
- Be actively involved in deal reviews, developing solution, proposal responses, creating an executive summary for the proposal, and ensure timely submission with appropriate internal approvals
- Build and maintain relationships across various levels in the client organization, particularly in the C- Level/ Executive Management Level, and build a partner map to position the team and management
- Good understanding and experience of selling IT Managed Services in a global delivery model
- Good understanding of the business and technology trends in the Manufacturing, Logistics, Retail Consumer Goods, Travel & Hospitality (ML, RCGTH) industries
- A consistent record in closing business, building, scaling, and handling a large account(s) in ML, RCGTH
- Experience of leading and closing large deals in managed services (multi-million € and multi-year contracts)
- Fluency in German and in English as a business language
