Summary

For the production area "Ground Based Systems," we are currently looking for a "Work Preparation Specialist for Opto-electronic Systems (M/F/d)" at our Oberkochen location.

The "Ground Based Systems" division manufactures optoelectronic devices and systems for land vehicles and stationary installations. These systems are used for reconnaissance and the protection of borders, objects, and individuals.

Your TasksPlanning and participation in the implementation of work steps/sequences in manufacturing
Creation and management of manufacturing documents, work instructions, and bills of materials for serial devices and repairs, as well as documentation in SAP
Support in the development and testing of prototypes and the launch of projects/products into manufacturing in close collaboration with engineering, design, quality, and project management
Planning of resources with a focus on optics and mechanics, also with regard to automation
Participation in determining required manufacturing capacities, taking into account manufacturing and business insights, and developing proposals for the production-friendly design of components
Conducting target-actual comparisons, calculating manufacturing costs, and identifying alternatives for in-house or outsourced production
Participation in the definition, development, testing, qualification, approval, and implementation of new technologies, processes, and methods in production
Application of common methods (e.g., Lean, SPC) and participation in the continuous improvement process
- Your Profile- Completed studies in the field of mechanical engineering, mechatronics, optoelectronics, or a technical vocational training with further qualification as a technician in mechatronics, mechanical engineering, or a similar field- Solid experience in the assembly and commissioning of optoelectronic devices and systems- Experience in work preparation and automation- Good knowledge of SAP, MS Office, and CAD- Methodological knowledge in Lean production and Six Sigma- Independent, structured working style and the ability to work in a team- Integration and assertiveness, along with good communication skills- Very good German and good English language skills in both written and spoken form
