Summary

For the department "Repairs & Retrofit Systems Land" we are looking for a "Work Preparator (f/m/d)" at the Oberkochen site as soon as possible.

The "Land Repair & Retrofit Systems" department repairs and produces sensors and complete systems for long-range surveillance vehicles. We work with military customers nationally and internationally, where our systems are used to protect troops and objects in foreign operations.

Your Tasks- Planning and collaboration in the implementation of work processes / sequences in production- Creation and management of production documents, work plans and parts lists for series devices and repairs as well as documentation in SAP- Supporting the development and testing of prototypes as well as the launch of projects / products in production in close cooperation with engineering, design, quality and project management- Planning equipment with a focus on optics and mechanics, also with regard to automation- Participation in the determination of required production capacities, taking into account production technology and business management findings, and development of proposals for the production-oriented design of components- Carrying out target/actual comparisons, calculating production costs and determining alternatives in relation to in-house / external production- Collaboration in the definition, development, testing, qualification, release and introduction of new technologies, processes and methods in production- Support with technical problems in production (root cause analysis, problem solving)- Application of common methods (lean, SPC) and participation in the continuous improvement process

Your Profile- Completed studies in the field of mechanical engineering, mechatronics, optoelectronics or technical vocational training with a further qualification as a technician in the field of mechatronics, mechanical engineering or comparable- Practical knowledge in the field of optics is advantageous- Sound experience in the assembly and commissioning of optoelectronic devices and systems- Experience in work preparation and automation- Good knowledge of SAP, MS Office and CAD- Knowledge of lean production and Six Sigma methods- Programming knowledge advantageous- Independent, structured way of working and the ability to work in a team- Integration and assertiveness plus good communication skills- Very good German and good English skills
