**The Role**
As the Head of People, you are responsible for managing employee relations and overseeing all aspects of the employee lifecycle. With a focus on fostering a performance-driven culture, you will play a key role in driving employee engagement, development, and retention globally. You will report directly to the CHRO.
**Job location**
In this role, you have the flexibility to work remotely from any location in Germany; preference would be Munich, Berlin or Walldorf. There would also be some travel required to our global offices.
**Requirements**:
- Manage employee relations covering the whole employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding
- Establish policies, ensure compliance and operational excellence of HR processes
- Oversee the company’s compensation and benefit plans
- Actively shape and evolve our values and performance-oriented culture, ensure a great employee experience
- Being a strategic partner to the business advising on all people related topics
- Oversee and manage our offices globally
- Lead a global team of HR professionals in Americas, EMEA, JAPAC and India
- Collaborate closely with other CHRO teams responsible for Recruiting, Talent Management, and Corporate Development to implement HR Strategy in the regions
- Collaborate closely with the Finance team to ensure accurate and on-time payroll and benefit processing
Skills & Experience
- Proven track record of at least 10 years as an experienced HR professional, showcasing passion for People & Organization topics; deep knowledge in transformation, employee relations, talent and performance management, compensation & benefits in an international setting
- At least 5 years in a senior management position leading big multinational teams with different seniority levels
- Comprehensive knowledge of German labor law and experience as an HR Business Partner / HR Ops professional in Germany; HR experience in Indian preferred
- Experience in setting up HR core processes from scratch, ideally in a start-up / high pace environment
- Very hands-on and entrepreneurial driven
- Profound understanding of business dynamics
- Empathy, a solution-oriented mindset, and exceptional problem-solving skills
- Fluent English and at least conversational German, enabling effective communication and collaboration across diverse teams and regions
