As a subsidiary of Mercedes-Benz Bank AG, Mercedes-Benz Bank Service Center in Berlin is responsible for the whole commercial business around financial services for Mercedes-Benz vehicles - from smarts to buses. Collections is a vital part of our overall leasing and financing operation. By driving down unpaid invoices at an early stage by opening up a direct dialogue with our customers for finding sustainable solutions, we can allow them to minimize the financial consequences of their delinquencies and ultimately, to keep their vehicles on the road. To establish and maintain such a direct dialogue and to subsequently find and offer the most optimal sustainable solutions requires great skill. By that, collections is an ideal growth path for those already excelling in a customer service environments and having a strong drive to further improve their conversation and negotiation skills.

**Your daily tasks will be:
- Responsibility for retail areas in the UK market
- Negotiation with customers to collect monthly installments from customers facing a problem of high arrears
- Using available technology while adhering to regulatory requirements
- Use negotiation tools to determine customer reasons for delinquency
- Proactive thinking to assist customer in determining the proper resolution (payment, restructure, voluntary surrender)
- Provide restructuring agreements to qualified customers
**Further tasks:
**- Support to collections third parties
- Support process optimization to assure costant improvement of our collections processes
- Testing and implementation of new processes

**What you bring to the table:
- Degree in Laws, Business Administration, Economics/Finance or a related field
- Strong professional experience in debt collection and/ora customer service
- Experience in conflict resolution and customer retention
- Strong knowledge of the UK markets
English at native speaker level
Other languages will be considered as a plus
