**Das Aufgabengebiet umfasst u. a.**:
Tasks include amongst others: - Regular literature research - Self-organized research, in close collaboration with the principal investigator and project partners - Development and validation of sampling and analytical methods to achieve the project goals - Qualitative and quantitative analysis of odour-active compounds (gas chromatography-olfactometry/mass spectrometry), synthesis of reference compounds as needed - Scientific evaluation and interpretation of data, publication and presentation of results together with supervisors and partners - Support of general lab activities, e.g., instruments and sensory evaluations - Academic self-administration

**Notwendige Qualifikation**:
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled individual with the following qualifications: - Master’s or equivalent degree, preferably within chemistry, chemical sensing and chemical sensor technology, food chemistry, biochemistry, sensory evaluation, or related fields. To be considered for the position, it is a condition that your Master’s degree is equivalent to a German Master’s degree. - Sound knowledge or prior experience in analytical chemistry, aroma chemistry, organic chemical synthesis, food chemistry, or related fields. Prior experience with synthesis, and chromatographic techniques are advantageous. - Excellent communication and organizational skills - Fluent communication in written and spoken English - Strong team player skills and enthusiasm for independent and self-organized project-based work in interdisciplinary environments - Willingness to take over general laboratory work and tasks for academic self-organization
