**The Opportunity**

If so, join Nutanix's dynamic team as a Sales Director - Public Sector in Germany, and leverage our cutting-edge technology, unparalleled support, and inclusive culture to exceed sales goals and make a meaningful impact in the ever-evolving field of enterprise cloud solutions.
**About the Team**
At Nutanix, you would be leading the Public Sector Sales Team Germany, comprising 6 sales representatives spread across different locations in Germany. The team fosters a culture of collaboration, support, and camaraderie, creating a positive and motivating work environment.
You will report to our Sales Leader for Central-Europe, who provides guidance, support, and mentorship to help you excel in your role. The work setup at Nutanix is hybrid, allowing flexibility for remote work while also emphasizing the importance of face-to-face interactions. Employees are not required to be in the office every day but are encouraged to visit customers and partners when needed.
As a member of the Public Sector Sales Team, you can expect to travel up to 40% of the time to meet with clients, attend conferences, and participate in networking events, enabling you to build strong relationships and drive business growth.
**Your Role**
- Lead and manage a team of Field Account Managers in selling Nutanix's products and solutions in the Public Sector
- Set and achieve quarterly revenue goals, aligning with company aspirations
- Develop and maintain a strategy and business plan for the team
- Engage with executive-level customers in the market
- Lead top deal reviews and manage the sales process
- Identify, develop, and retain talented individuals in the team
- Continuously educate oneself to upskill and stay informed about leadership, industry, and competition
- Promote and uphold Nutanix's values of Hungry, Humble and Honest.
**What You Will Bring**
- Previous sales leadership experience of 10+ people
- Experience managing cross-functional teams
- 5+ years in software or cloud sales leadership positions
- 5+ years in sales management focused on public sector vertical
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop and retain talented individuals
- Continuous learning and upskilling
