Director Change Communications

As the Director of Change Communications, you will be responsible for leading and implementing comprehensive communication strategies to support organizational change initiatives, corporate strategy rollouts, and stakeholder engagement. You will work closely with senior leadership to ensure that messaging aligns with the company's goals, vision, and values. Your role will be critical in ensuring that employees and external stakeholders are informed, engaged, and aligned with the company's direction during times of transition and growth.

Your assignments

**Change Communication Leadership**:

- Develop and execute communication plans for major organizational changes, including culture, mergers, acquisitions, restructuring, and process improvements
- Provide strategic counsel to senior leadership on change management and communication best practices
- Develop messaging that fosters understanding, acceptance, and engagement among employees during periods of change

**Corporate Strategy Communication**:

- Create and implement communication strategies to articulate the company's overall strategy, objectives, and key initiatives
- Craft compelling narratives and messaging that align with the company's strategic direction and resonate with employees and external stakeholders

**Measurement and Reporting**:

- Foster a culture of innovation and excellence within the communications department
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of communication strategies
- Regularly report on the impact and progress of communication initiatives to senior management

**Profile**:

- Bachelor’s degree in communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field. Master's degree preferred
- 8+ years of experience in strategic communications, change management, and corporate strategy communication, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and manage a team
- Strategic thinker with the ability to align communication with corporate goals
- Proficiency in utilizing various communication channels and technologies
- Strong text and language skills in German and English
- In-depth understanding of business contexts and change processes in large companies
- Excellent knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
- Structured work, willingness to learn, commitment and ability to work in a team and in an agile work set up
