Postdoctoral Research and Teaching Fellow - 2nd qualification phase (Habilitation)

This position is to be filled at the Chair of Work, Inclusion and
Technology of the Faculty of Rehabilitation Sciences as of
March 1st 2025, initially for a fixed term of 3 years. There is a
possibility of extension. The salary is in accordance with the
salary regulations according to salary grade A 13 LBesG NRW or
according to the collective bargaining regulations according to
pay group 13 TV-L. If the requirements under civil service law are
met, we will endeavour to recruit you as a temporary civil
servant. This is a full-time position. Employment in or reduction
to part-time is possible in principle.

YOUR TASKS:

- Qualitative/mixed-methods social research in the field of

Computer Supported Cooperative Work (CSCW) focussing on
issues of occupational inclusion and participation.
- Independent development/implementation/publication of

interdisciplinary research projects on inclusive socio
- technical work systems.
- Collaboration on project proposals of the department.
- Expansion/further development of our Hybrid Work Lab.
- Opportunity for further academic qualification.
- Involvement in teaching (4 SWS) and supervision of theses.
- Participation in university self-administration.

- university degree in the field of Human Factors, Human
- Computer Interaction, Ergonomics, Sociology of technology,
Cultural Anthropology with a focus on technology/media or
similar.
- Doctoral degree in the context of CSCW, Ergonomics, Human
- Computer Interaction in the work environment, ideally with
reference to inclusion.

IDEALLY YOU BRING:

- sound experience with ethnographic methods or methods of
- applied qualitative user research
- experience with digitisation-related research in the work
- context and/or with users from vulnerable groups.
- Motivation for collaborative thinking and discussion as well

as an interest in the further development of the field
