Siemens Legal and Compliance advises the operating business and central units of the company on all legal and compliance-related matters.
The global team acts as a close partner to Siemens' business leaders and supports them in achieving business goals, developing and implementing legal strategies, and in the area of integrity. Legal Compliance Digital Industries Export Compliance ensures compliance with legal requirements for all export processes to foreign countries for the Siemens Operating Company - Digital Industries (DI).
**What part will you play?**
As an "Export Control Classification Professional (f/m/d)" you will dive into the exciting technical details of various Siemens products, accompany digitalization initiatives and evaluate them with regard to legal export control regulations.
**Your tasks**
- You analyze goods according to technical and/or commercial characteristics and classify them in compliance with the legal requirements of foreign trade law
- Focus primarily on future areas of technology and software, but also on analysis of the current Siemens DI product portfolio
- Share your expertise and prepare varied and informative trainings for colleagues in a comprehensible way
- Perform embargo and sanction reviews for the DI product portfolio in close cooperation with our transaction specialists
- Support on process analyses and improvements
- Actively involved in shaping your own area of responsibility and act as an innovative driver of new ideas
- You are a competent contact person for all questions regarding export control classification and professionally guide a network of colleagues in the business
**What you need to make real what matters.**
- You have a bachlor’s degree in technical studies such as computer science, business informatics, electrical engineering or automation technology, alternatively, you have an equivalent qualification with suitable long term professional experience
- Bring already several years of experience in the areas of software development, computer science, electrical engineering and automation, ideally in an international working environment
- Enjoy analyzing legal issues and integrating them with your technical knowledge into decision templates and solutions
- You like to work with new tools and systems and ideally you are already familiar with SAP
- Understanding complex problems, developing productive solutions and adequate team communication is natural to you
- You bring basic knowledge of computer science and software programming
- Your German and English language skills are on a business fluent level
