- We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Sales and Administration Specialist to cover a maternity leave. We can guarantee a 2-year limited contract to join our Sales Department in Garching, Germany._

Sales and Administration Specialist (temp. Maternity leave cover, 2 years)
About the Role:
This position is within HARMAN’s Consumer Lifestyle Division in DACH, headquartered in Garching (bei München), Germany. As part of the DACH Sales Team in a rapidly growing company, you will be responsible for managing the administration of sales investments, approvals and customer documentation, as well as supporting the Sales Director DACH as team
- and sales assistant.
What You Will Do:
- Work in a matrix organization and alignment of company wide sales organization (which involves brick & mortar retailer, pure player & direct e-commmerce teams). This includes collaboration with EHQ in English language.
- Manage DACH Sales Documentation: Generating and maintaining sales documents, such as sales reports, invoices/ credit notes, and contracts. This may also involve organizing and maintaining customer databases and filing systems.
- Follow-up and After-sales Support: Following up with key account customers to ensure satisfaction with their collaboration and addressing any post-sales inquiries or issues. This may involve providing product information, product samples, troubleshooting assistance, or coordinating returns and exchanges.
- Run Market Inquiries: Conducting research with existing customers, public domain information on competitors, and industry trends to gather and grow market knowledge and assist in identifying sales opportunities. This may involve analyzing sales data, monitoring market trends, and preparing simple reports or summaries.
- Enable Team Communication: Prepare and share minutes of meetings, make information available via MS Teams and other platforms, collect and consolidate team feedback for our EHQ.
- Relationship Building: Developing and maintaining positive relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to foster long-term partnerships and enhance business opportunities.
- Product Knowledge: Continuously updating product knowledge to effectively communicate product features, benefits, and specifications to customers. This includes staying informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and product updates.
- Support the Sales Director DACH: Handle and solve administrative tasks.
What You Need:
- At least 3 years of work experience within a commercial organization.
- Proven strong organizational & communication skills.
- Eagerness to learn and support Harman´s commercial processes.
- Experience with platforms such as SAP, SalesForce, Webex, MS Teams, MS Office
- Team player, open minded, curious with a can-do mentality.
- Preferably experience in working within a global organization with a diverse, multi-cultural team.
- Excellent English and German language skills required.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Willingness to travel to attend sales conferences within DACH and The Netherlands.
- Willingness to work minimum 40% in the Harman Garching office.
