**We are looking for a postdoctoral fellow with the following interests and competences**
- Interest in research related to transplantation and/or regeneration with a particular focus on aging/senescence
- A conscientious and scientificallyoriented work ethic with superior knowledge on accurate and responsible processing of experimental data including documentation, analysis and interpretation
- Ability to formulate hypotheses and develop a work plan with clear and verifiable milestones.
- Capability to optimize existing protocols, but also to identify and establish new methods
- First experience in scientific manuscript writing and/or grant proposal writing
- Previous exposure to animal experiments is extremely helpful as the laboratory works with several transgenic mouse strains and experimental models

**Requirements and Qualifications**
- Completed doctorate (biology, chemistry, physics, medicine or comparable)
- Proven expertise in animal work, ideally you hold the certificate "experimental animal science/animal welfare" according to the Directive 2010/63/EU (formerly FESALA B course).
- Indepth skills in molecular biological methods and analytical processing. Expected experience in the following techniques: real-time PCR, immunohistochemistry, western blot or primary cell culture
- Very good knowledge of spoken and written English

- Knowledge of single cell sequencing methodology and analytical evaluation.
- Knowledge of epigenetic modification analysis, in particular DNA methylation
- Knowledge and experience in nextgeneration sequencing (NGS)
