The Institute of Communication Acoustics is engaged in research and development of algorithms for speech and audio communication, music signal processing in cochlear implants, robust speech and pattern recognition, and the analysis and synthesis of acoustic scenes, using the methods of statistical signal processing, signal detection and estimation, machine learning, and the modeling of (electro-) acoustic systems. **Your profile**:
- Applicants should have a university degree (Master/Diploma) in electrical engineering and/or information technology with a very good academic performance or a foreign equivalent. Knowledge of digital signal processing and machine learning tools is highly desirable. Proficiency in English and working knowledge of German, as well as profound knowledge of programming languages (e. g. Python / MATLAB / C++) is required.
