- We are now looking for a Director, Business Control, Sales (M/F/d) to join our UPM Communication Papers, Business Control team.
UPM Communication Papers is one of the world's leading producers of graphic papers, offering an extensive product range for advertising and publishing as well as home and office uses. What you will do
We are looking for a proactive, dynamic and results driven Business Controller to drive forward the Communication Papers Sales organisation and add real bottom line value. The role entails close relationship with the Sales SVP and Management team, working in the Communication Papers Business Control management team.
Your main tasks will include:
- Support and challenge Sales Management using data and insights to drive decision making, being a sparring partner with a 360° finance view-
- Turn insights from data into actionable items for value generation and follow-up implementation-
- Take responsibility of Sales Forecasting process and actual result analysis, define and further develop PBI based Sales reporting, with support of Business Reporting and Analysis team-
- Run Sales target setting process and follow up on its implementation, be responsible for fixed cost budgeting for European Sales offices-
- Participate in or even steer BA wide projects-
- Drive system and process changes in alignment with Sales Development and Category Management-
- Be a member of Sales Management team and Finance & Business Control Management team-
- Act as direct line manager for 1 BC Sales, Manager and indirectly managing the Sales support from Business Reporting and Analysis teamWho you are- You have a degree in Business Admin., Technology or equivalent and minimum 5 years of relevant experience-
- You have a developing mindset - to use/learn digital tools to develop the business and processes-
- You are a self-leader with ability to drive own agenda-
- You have good communication, interpersonal and analytical skills-
- You have good Business and Financial understanding, good knowledge of reporting tools (SAP, Excel, PowerBI, MS Office) is beneficial-

The position can be based in UPM location either in Germany or Finland.
The position holder will report to VP, Business Control | Finance & Control.
