**We are seeking**:

- for the Digitale Gesundheitswissenschaften und Biomedizin in Faculty V: School of Life Sciences to begin as soon as possible, a**University Professor (W3)**

**for Methods, Statistics and Epidemiology**
- If the budgetary and structural prerequisites are fulfilled by the time of employment, the professorship will be filled immediately for a permanent period; otherwise, it will initially be for a limited period of 5 years with the possibility of a permanent extension.**Your Responsibilities**:

- You will represent the area methods, statistics, and epidemiology. Teaching is linked to new study programs within the school of life sciences: BA Digital and Biomedical Health Sciences, MA Medical Data Science, MA Biomedical Technology, and MA Digital Publich Health. Teaching load is four to five classes per week (9 semester week hours).**Your profile**:

- You fulfill the legal employment requirements of - 36 Higher Education Act of North Rhine-Westphalia. More information on these requirements can be found at service.uni-siegen.de/prof
- You graduated in statistics, medicine, psychology, health sciences, social sciences, economics, or related areas.
- You did your Ph.D. in a related area, with outstanding marks.
- Your research profile is visible in national and international scientific communities.
- You have experiences in interdisciplinary teaching and research.
- You have extensive experience in the successful securing of external funding.
- You have successfully published beyond your Ph.D.
- You have experiences in academic management as well as proven teaching skills
- You are expected to support clinical trials as well as projects in health services research, especially in the area of digital healthcare.
