**University Professor (W2)**
**of General Psychology**

**Your Responsibilities**:

- You represent the field of General Psychology (Learning, Emotions, Motivation, Cognition) in research and teaching. You contribute to the strategic development of interdisciplinary research in the Department of Psychology (mental illness, psycho-physiological research, lifespan, self-determination, self-regulation, prosocial and antisocial behavior) and the research activities of Faculty V. The responsibilities in teaching mainly focus on psychology programs (Bachelor, Master) and Educational Sciences in the teaching profession, particularly in the form of a module in Educational Psychology.**Your profile**:

- You fulfill the legal employment requirements of - 36 Higher Education Act of North Rhine-Westphalia. More information on these requirements can be found at service.uni-siegen.de/prof
- An outstanding doctoral degree in the field of Psychology is required.
- An extensive, experimental research focus (especially evidenced by peer-reviewed publications), which aligns with the research of the Department of Psychology, is expected.
- A research profile that is compatible with Educational Sciences is desired, as well as an active, cross-faculty contribution to research activities, especially in Faculty II (Educational Sciences).
- Experience in acquiring third-party funding and with Open Science, as well as international visibility, are expected.**Your contact person**:
