Aalen University of Applied Sciences would like to fill the following position at the Materials Research Institute (IMFAA) to the earliest possible date:
**PhD position Magnetic materials for efficient energy conversion (M/F/d) 23-11-08**:

- full-time 100% (39,5 hrs/week)
- **Your tasks**:

- The **research topics** are alternatively in the following areas:

- Sustainable high-performance permanent magnets produced by powder metallurgy
- Recycling of high-performance permanent magnets
- Additively manufactured functional components for electrical machines
- New soft magnetic materials for highly efficient energy distribution
- Preparation of scientific publications
- Preparation of project proposals

**Your profile**:

- You have a very good Master's degree in physics, materials science, chemistry, mineralogy or mechanical engineering, production engineering or a related field
- We require a scientific curiosity and a structured, analytical way of working
- You have a high level of flexibility and motivation, as well as a strong ability to cooperate and enjoy inspiring teamwork
- You have good MS Office skills
