Scientific and Medical Affairs Manager

Scientific and Medical Affairs Manager, you will be responsible for the strategy and management of claim substantiation for the international launch of complex new and further developments of products.
To achieve this, you will act as link between product management, product marketing, technology & innovation, legal and regulatory to define, plan, and lead research and clinical studies and projects worldwide and evaluate clinical data for product definition, approval, and marketing purposes.
Conduct literature research on scientific and technical topics for insights generation and substantiation of claimsDevelop and evaluate the state of knowledge in science and industrySupervise clinical and technical data generation for claim substantiation by internal and external cooperation partners and ensure adequate transformation of data into marketing claims and scientific communication materialAs a medical advisor and expert, you will support Product Management and Marketing in claim ideation/generation and consult project-relevant departments with technical and scientific background informationReview and approve product-specific marketing materials and publicationsEnsure compliance with medical, regulatory, legal, and ethical standardsDevelop technical communication material incl.
white papers, internal/external study reports, and publicationsPresent scientific and medical information to internal and external stakeholdersContribute to the company's scientific and professional communication process, medical education and trainingMaster's degree or PhD in a natural science, medical or comparable program of study.
Work ExperienceWork experience (>1 year) in Medical Affairs or Life Science Management.Practical experience in claim substantiation and technical or medical communication is an advantage.
Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements for medical devices, as well as experience in designing research studiesSpecific Knowledge/SkillsAbility to translate industrial needs into academic requirements, formulating research tasks and objectives to be derivedAbility to quickly and independently familiarize oneself with new indications and circumstances
