Welcome to the adidas Foundation We are an independent nonprofit organization with the mission to harness the transformative power of sport to tackle pressing social and environmental challenges worldwide. As an initiative launched by adidas AG in Herzogenaurach, we believe in the unparalleled ability of sport to unite communities and drive positive change in the face of global issues such as conflict, inequality, discrimination, and climate change. Envisioning a world where everyone has access to the life-changing benefits of sport and physical activity, the adidas Foundation strives to create a brighter future for both people and the planet. While maintaining a strong connection with adidas AG, our primary funding source, we operate with full autonomy to strategically allocate resources toward fulfilling our charitable mission. We drive impactful initiatives, including grants for nonprofit organizations worldwide, support local projects aligned with our mission and empower social entrepreneurs through grants and seed funding. Our collaborations with essential service providers guarantee the successful execution of initiatives, ranging from refurbishing community football pitches to conducting impact assessments. Our local initiatives in the greater Nuremberg area serve as a launching pad for global expansion, empowering communities around the world. Additionally, we actively contribute to research and advocacy efforts, furthering our overarching goals. _________________________- HEAD OF STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT - ADIDAS FOUNDATION (M/F/D)- The Head of Stakeholder Engagement plays a pivotal role in fostering meaningful connections and innovative partnerships, shaping, and advancing the mission of the adidas Foundation. Being responsible for the foundation’s unified voice, they design and implement brand, communication and engagement strategies, curate compelling program stories and ensure meaningful communication with our stakeholders. Through strategic initiatives, the Head of Stakeholder Engagement will actively build a robust support network, engage with key partners and beneficiary communities as well as develop and drive the fundraising strategy on a global scale, contributing to the adidas Foundation’s global visibility and further strengthening our positioning and overall impact of initiatives.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and own the adidas Foundation’s global stakeholder engagement strategy in alignment with the foundation’s objectives and bylaws and ensure the strategy's effective execution, fostering collaboration and communication across various organizational levels
- Build, lead and manage the Stakeholder Engagement team, making everyday decisions related to team leadership, talent retention, and ensuring high-quality, impactful stakeholder and community work, essential to enhance the foundation’s visibility and achieve our mission and goals
- Drive the development of initiatives aimed at engaging key stakeholders, reaching target communities, fostering meaningful connections, and establishing a robust support network through strategic engagement practices
- Act as a key advisor, leveraging your expertise, providing strategic guidance, and offering expert engagement advice to the foundation’s senior leaders and teams to help build and maintain effective connections with stakeholders on a global scale
- Align stakeholder engagement efforts with broader communication strategies and engagement activities, actively liaising with diverse audiences, attending key meetings, and meticulously overseeing messaging alignment
- Lead the creation of essential communication assets tailored for funders, partners, political and public representatives, and other stakeholders, crafting compelling and targeted communications that convey the Foundation's strengths, priorities, and overall mission
