We are looking for a full-time position at our location in Eschborn as:
**Global Commercial Excellence Director (M/F/d)**

**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Define strategy, roles, processes, business rules, and policies to support commercial and business processes across Business Units
- Align and deploy activities across the commercial organization that support increased commercial effectiveness and growth
- Work closely with Business and Sales teams to enhance and manage account selection, opportunity management, lead generation and management, pricing management, RFQ and Contracts management processes
- Develop and drive best practices across Business Units
- Define templates, track execution, and report progress
- Design and drive pricing governance and management processes to optimize win potential, ensure pricing governance, and manage pricing reports
- Work with Product Management, GBL, Sales, and Marketing to develop, manage, and report pricing approvals, minimum pricing parameters, and support value-based pricing initiatives
- Design metrics and track performance to improve business health.
- Provide a global, Trinseo-level view of commercial excellence metrics and recommend and drive actions to improve; work with Business Units Commercial Excellence, Sales Support, and Sales to execute
- Develop, recommend, and monitor Sales, CRM, and other management tools supporting the sales process; create metrics and dashboards; work with Business Units Commercial Excellence and IT to ensure system and tool alignment
- Develop and/or coordinate training development and delivery to support sales and commercial excellence activities, process improvement, and tools usage
- Coordinate and support ComEx activities and meetings. Develop templates and reporting tools to monitor initiatives, including TSE 2.0 and sustainability projects

**OUR REQUIREMENTS**:

- Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical discipline, or related field (advanced degree in management is a plus)
- 10+ years of experience in commercial excellence, process improvement, business management or similar role (Lean/Six Sigma credential strongly preferred; experience in plastics or specialty chemicals industry is a plus)
- Change agent with proven experience in leading business and commercial process improvement; proven knowledge of process improvement practices, methodologies, and implementation
- Strong understanding of business and sales processes as well as supporting functional roles
- Ability to translate high-level vision into executable actions
- Ability to foster strong relationships and influence within in a matrix organization to achieve business objectives. Demonstrated success in consensus building and management buy-in. Must be a proven transformational leader.
- Good interpersonal skills in leading and managing multi-functional teams comprising members of different cultural backgrounds
- Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
- Ability to thrive in an agile organization with shifting priorities and time-sensitive deadlines
