**Bid Director DACH - (D/F/M)**
Location: Remote, Frankfurt/Main, Hamburg, Munich, Düsseldorf

**The Opportunity**
The Bid Director role is an expert at managing pursuit strategy execution for Cognizant’s strategic pursuits. These large, complex strategic deals often take 6-12 months from early shaping. They will involve a wide range of the Group’s portfolio of services, cross-discipline and often involving multiple business units and geographies.
In this role, the Bid Director will manage >25m USD TCV Deals involving complex multiple tower solutions for the DACH region.
You will take accountability for supporting the pursuit strategy setting process for these complex and cross-discipline business focused value propositions for clients in close collaboration with the Pursuit Leads and Client Partners. This supports the client’s business challenges and deliver innovative solutions to further advance their business. The role is a master in planning and tracking team activity to meet internal and client deadlines and facilitates collaboration and drives proposal quality and consistency as well as ensures to meet Cognizant process and approval requirements.

**Your Key Result Areas**
- Provide structured project management and activity planning on 2-3 pursuits at a time
- Manage agile development of content and thought leadership and facilitate team collaboration and leadership reviews
- Ensure alignment of all pursuit elements and deliverables to pursuit strategy and assess deliverable quality through outside-in, client-oriented perspective
- Manage Cognizant Way to Sell (CWTS) and executive approval processes
- Monitor and ensure the alignment of all proposal content, messaging, deliverables, and pursuit actions with the pursuit strategy
- Manage logistics, preparation, and client communication for client presentations, workshops, site visits, reference calls, and other client-facing events
- Manage the visual presentation, written content, and physical delivery of proposal deliverables, including RFP responses, commercial proposals, presentations, and contract documents
- Document key learnings from completed pursuits and contribute to Cognizant Bid Management assets, including best practices for executing strategic pursuits

**Your Experience & Expertise**
- Several years of experience in large deals in bid management, management consulting, sales coaching, and/or financial analysis
- Proven experience and track record of shaping and closing deals >25M€ TCV as the Bid Manager of those opportunities.
- Graduate degree ideally plus an MBA (as plus, but not required) or equivalent.
- Fluent language skills in German and English are a must-have
- Long-lasting matrix expertise: convincing others through a matrix.
- Strong networker and builder with strong capability to build internal and external partnerships.
- Non-hierarchy and non-status driven personality, marked by a “can do” and down-to-earth pragmatic mentality.
