**Deputy Head of Investment Compliance (M/F/d)**

Frankfurt Full-time/Part-time permanent

Securities Services provides asset-servicing services to investment funds, securities and alternative assets throughout the investment process. The unit is the largest depositary for securities including real estate funds in Germany and one of the five leading global custodians worldwide. Around 300 employees in Germany develop integrated digital solutions for all customer segments from one source

Challenges that let you grow:

- Managing of the team’s tasks and allocation of resources in close cooperation with the Head of Investment Compliance
- Strong interest in the further amendment of Investment Compliance Tools in order to address new investment vehicles and control requirements (a.o. ESG, Crypto)
- Development of new products and services to further strengthen our standing as Market Leader in Germany
- Performance and supervision of operational tasks such as- Monitoring of regulatory and fund specific investment restrictions on a daily basis, validation of breaches monitored by the local team- Ex-ante eligibility checks for alternative investments- Documentation of non-monitorable investment restrictions and notification to the management companies (KVGs)- Implementation and validation of regulatory and fund specific investment restrictions in the monitoring system- Supporting implementation of Operational Risk Management procedures and tools in the day-to-day businessSkills that convince:

- Minimum: Bachelor’s degree or vocational training in relevant field
- Professional experience of at least 3 years
- Pro-active, “can-do”-attitude
- Good knowledge of German and European fund-related regulations, such as KAGB, Verwahrstellenrundschreiben and DerivateV.
- Deep knowledge of the funds, securities and derivatives markets
- Very good German and English language skills
- Ability to maintain performance and sound judgement under pressure
- Ability to regard internal stakeholders as well as external clients as “customers”,
- Knowledge of the main systems used to carry out IC tasks preferred
