As Project Controller (d/f/m) Secure Communications Germany you will be a vital part in the Finance community and the project organization. As a challenging Business Partner, you will contribute substantially to managing the profit & loss of the project. You will gather and provide data to enable educated decision making on management level and give visibility about performance vs. targets. You will highlight and analyze discrepancies and propose actions to optimize financial and operational performance. To do so, you will collaborate and challenge your business partners from all directorates (e.g. Project Organization, Engineering, Operations, Procurement, Sales and other Finance departments). Moreover, you will support key change decisions in the project (business cases, scope adaptation, major modifications etc.). You will as well manage the financial aspects of the project contracts including invoicing, cash, risk and opportunity management. During bid phases, you will be in charge of all financial aspects and support contractual amendments and the acquisition of additional orders while meeting the required profitability targets.

Your role will be within the German Secure Communications Finance team. As part of the Connected Intelligence Business Unit, we provide our German customer with secure satellite communication systems and services. You will work with the project team and be embedded in the Finance community.

In this role you will be covering the project controlling of our German Satellite Communication programs, which are a key cornerstone of our business, and also financially supporting the bid activities in this area. With your work, you will actively contribute to the success of our business today and in the future.

**Your main activities will be**:

- Financial project management, from project set up to customer invoicing and cash management
- Project controlling including budget allocation, deviation analysis, mitigation actions, risk and opportunity management
- Bid costing and Pricing (acc. German Pricing Regulations)
- Management of internal work orders and approval of purchase requests
- Price audit preparation and support
- Coordination of internal & external team members

**Requirements**:
Being a Program/Project Controller requires a robust business understanding, a feeling for numbers and solid social skills to be able to manage your stakeholders in adversity towards the best business decisions for the company. The role is challenging in its complexity and has to be undertaken by somebody who is capable to understand the people, the product and the numbers

**Desired skills and qualifications**
- Degree in Finance, Business Management or equivalent
- Several years of experience in activities which have allowed you to acquire sound skills and knowledge of Finance and (Project-)Controlling
- Experience with SAP (CO/FI)
- Experience of working in a matrix environment with proven record
