**Aufgaben / Tasks**
- Establishing and delivering the objectives of the Health & Safety Management System
- Establishing a H&S reporting framework addressing all duty holders with an standardized status and progress update
- Supporting a proactive framework of risk mitigation in relation to our tourism activities and services offered
- Identifying, documenting, assessing and conducting periodic reviews of the H&S and highlighting any safety risks affecting our business and implementing practical measures to manage the identified risks effectively
- Complying with or exceeding all legal and statutory requirements relating to health & safety, environment, security and sustainability throughout our business activities
- Supporting the review of the company’s health and safety performance
- Performing annual internal safety audits and taking prompt action on identified nonconformities
- Coordinating the investigation of accidents and incidents, ensuring all the relevant paperwork is completed
- Carrying out accident / incident trend analysis across all FTI business units
- Reporting any significant accidents/incidents to the regulatory authority and the board/senior management where required
- Maintaining an accurate record/database of all health and safety audit data
- Developing action plans and carry out follow-up audits where safety non-conformities have been identified by our external consultants.
- Establishing and setting up a health and safety committee
- Ensuring that health and safety is addressed regularly during management / departmental meetings
- Identifying and examining trends by the monitoring activities contained in the H&S policy
- Keeping up to date with all safety requirements and best practices applicable to FTI’s business operations
- Overseeing and coordinating the investigation of illness outbreaks
- Monitor the supplier target audit defect resolution process and report on audit findings as required
- Assisting in the selection and prioritisation of target suppliers for audit and communicate this with our external consultants
- Providing support to the crisis management department in the event of a crisis situation
- Keeping the board/senior management the informed of any major failings within the system, legal concerns, safety breaches, etc.
- Training and supporting the health and safety managers and coordinators in relation to their supporting roles for each business unit
- Ensuring the communication of safety arrangements downwards through line management
- Overseeing the health and safety assessment programme relating to all tourism services contracted by group, including; transport, air travel, excursions, accommodation, etc.
- Liaison with Crisis Management departments

**Profil / Qualifikation**
- Bachelor's degree OR Diploma with a qualification in a relevant area
- 8-10 years of experience in a relevant industry and role, including at least 2 years in positions of progressively increasing managerial responsibilities
- Primary Degree in Engineering, Science or equivalent or a recognized Diploma in the Occupational Health and Safety.
- Chartered member of IOSH (Institution of Occupational Safety and Health) and undertaking a scheme of Continuous Professional Development
- Knowledge and experience of quality, security, occupational health & safety and environmental management systems and relevant areas of civil and criminal law implemented in complex and/or industrial environments
- An advanced knowledge of health and safety principles with proven technical skills in occupational safety and health disciplines with a minimum 10 years’ experience in a related role
- Experience and proven capabilities in developing and implementing world class health and safety management systems in a construction projects environment
- Experience in developing and implementing behavioral safety programmes.
