**Our Great Opportunity**
We are looking for an experienced Semiconductor Packaging Specialist driving research and early technology for innovative IC packaging solutions to secure Ericsson‘s innovation and technology leadership in Advanced Antenna Systems. We are working on all horizons: from the device technology to the package implementation, from novel designs and architectures to the end module prototype.

**You will**
- Be part of a highly diverse team with varied strengths and take part in all kinds of activities that comes with the role
- Belong to a team that works on all horizons as mentioned above
- Have tight cooperation with Ericsson Radio R&D organizations globally and be responsible for research and early development activities in the following fields: Packaging solutions (MCM, SIP etc) for integration of high performance/power digital dies (advanced technologies), mixed signal dies, analog and RF/mmWdies and a combination thereof
- Finding/developing appropriate packaging/module technology supporting integrations goals considered aspects like: Cooling and thermal management, inter and intra module interconnect (digital high-speed serial, digital massive parallel as well as RF/analog), Shielding and EMI, Reliability and quality, Verification and test
- Technically contribute and/or lead in related research and/or early technology development projects
- Support design teams during development, verification, and validation of the design

**To be successful in the role you must have**
- A university degree: M.Sc. degree within Material Science or Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical education on a university level
- Domain experience: 5+ years experience in relevant areas
- Several years of experience as senior technical leader (in below areas)
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken

**Core Proficiencies considered as a merit during the evaluation process**
- Today project-manager / manager for advanced package and module development
- Experiences in package and module development
- Established network with OSATs (Out-Sourced Assembly and Test)
- Experience in thermal design/ analysis (Flowtherm & Icepak)
- Experience in digital, RF, and layout design (Cadence SIP, Keysight ADS,)
- Familiar with reliability requirements, failure modes, and qualifications standards (JEDEC)
- Understanding of Radio Base Station Advance Antenna System (RBS AAS) building practice
