of employment: 3 ½ years, volume of employment: 75 % of standard working time.

**Job requirements and responsibilities**:

- The position will be part of a research group with the following topics of interest: reasoning and planning with

large language models; interactive natural language processing, e.g. dialogue; natural language generation;
semantic parsing; and more.
- The position comes with a teaching load of one seminar per year in the BSc Computational Linguistics (German),

the MSc Language Science and Technology (English), or the Erasmus Mundus MSc Language and Communication

Technologies (English).
- You should have expertise in neural and/or linguistically principled methods in computational linguistics,

demonstrated through a high-quality Master's thesis and ideally peer-reviewed publications.

**Your academic qualifications**:

- Completed university studies in computational linguistics, computer science, or a related discipline.

(MsC)
- Language skills (according to GER): Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is required. The ability to teach in

German is a plus.
- The applicant must be proficient in English (spoken and written) and
- should have demonstrated an expertise in a relevant area of research.
