We are seeking a dedicated student with a keen interest in 3D modeling and automation to contribute to an exciting project focused on voxel geometry. Your primary responsibility will be to create a VBA and Python script for generating voxel geometries within FreeCAD and CST. Your tasks will include the following:
**What you will do**:
- Utilize FreeCAD's integrated features to produce simplified voxel representations from existing CAD geometries
- Enhance voxelization for improved speed and efficiency
- Divide complex geometries into smaller segments and independently voxelize these parts
- Combine smaller voxelized parts to form a larger geometry
- Write a comprehensive documentation for the developed VBA and Python script
**What you bring**:
- Currently enrolled as a student in Electrical, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in VBA and Python programming
- Basic understanding of 3D modeling and CAD software
- Interest in algorithmic geometry and 3D data processing
- Ability to work and solve challenges independently
- Effective teamwork and communication skills
- Knowledge of the German language is a plus
