YOUR TASKS
- Establishment of multi-compartment bioprocess setups and related automated real-time analytics of cell physiology, especially single cell level to study population heterogeneity in cell culture processes
- Development of fluorescent reporter strain concepts to visualize population heterogeneity during bioprocesses
- Data analysis of multi-dimensional bioprocess data and generation of fluid dynamic and metabolic models
- Supervising of students, teaching in laboratory courses and possibility to teach in class
YOUR PROFILE
- Large experience in cultivation of mammalian cells (and/or microorganisms) in bioreactors at different scales
- Advanced knowledge in bioprocess analytics and the related data analysis, especially knowledge in flow cytometry analysis and fluorescence-activated cell sorting is appreciated
- Highly motivated to delve into current scientific challenges, independently contribute new ideas and work on them in an interdisciplinary team
- Knowledge on fluid dynamic and metabolic modelling
