Die Stelle im Überblick

As the Scientific Project Coordinator for the ERC-funded Synergy Project 'Fungal Tolerance' at the Institute of Biochemistry at the Charité, you will have the opportunity to play a crucial role in advancing research on drug-tolerant fungal diseases. Your key responsibilities will include:
Strategizing, coordinating, and overseeing project implementation from both a logístical and administrative perspective. This will involve working closely with project administration, communicating with the project sponsor, and managing funding administration for the Charité.
Facilitating the scientific implementation of the project, which will require you to maintain close communication with project partners, compare work packages and project progress, evaluate progress, and develop strategies for publications.
Monitoring and administering project budgets, ensuring that funds are allocated and spent in accordance with established guidelines.
Providing scientific and administrative support to junior research groups and facilities associated with the project.

Danach suchen wir

PhD degree in natural sciences, preferably with a focus on biomedical research, and relevant professional experience in the field.
Experience, or motivation, for science management, including scientific and administrative project implementation, budget planning and control, is desirable.
Previous experience in medical-scientific networking, including positioning, mediation, network expansion and maintenance.
Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a proven ability to work effectively in a team.
Previous experience working in interdisciplinary joint projects is desirable.
High flexibility and resilience, with the ability to adapt to changing project needs.
