**About the team**

As an internal independent body, the Head of Data Privacy supervises compliance with national and international Data Privacy regulations and performs spot-checks for verification. The Head of Data Privacy is “Datenschutzbeauftragter” of ZF Friedrichshafen AG and bears the operational responsibility for the Data Privacy Management System (DSMS) of ZF Group.

This position can be filled in our locations in Germany, the Netherlands, or Belgium.

**What you can look forward to as Head of Data Privacy (M/F/d)**:

- Oversight over the Data Privacy Officers and Coordinators (DPO) of all legal entities worldwide as well as oversight of Data Privacy relevant activities within the Divisions and Global Domains of ZF Group
- The implementation and supervision of worldwide Data Privacy principles including incidence report systems
- Data Privacy impact assessment and coordination with, and communication to national and international Data Privacy regulators and authorities
- Roll-out of a Data Privacy Compliance Management Systems
- Implementation of a “Data Deletion” and “Data Impact Assessment” system
- Assuring data “Incident free” environment across Europe and the Rest of the world

**Your Profile as Head of Data Privacy (M/F/d)**:

- Law Degree (preferred) or Master’s Degree & at least 7+ years professional experience in a Data Privacy and IT legal environment
- Strong leadership experience, preferable in a matrix organization with an international setting
- Expert Knowledge, understanding of, and appreciation for Privacy/Data Privacy regulatory environment and technical implications
- Ability to design, implement and roll out a Group wide Privacy program and its supervision
- Ability to constantly assess privacy risks including deduction of policy implications
- High communication and assertiveness skills, sociability, pragmatic and solution-oriented work attitude
- Fluent English (verbal and written), German language skills is a plus
