Industrial Cyber Security Specialist (d/f/m):


As an Industrial Cyber Security Specialist, you play a vital role in assisting our Shop Floor IT Architects in seamlessly connecting new production machines to our network.

You'll be part of a diverse team of 10 Cyber Security specialists.

Our collective mission is to ensure the safe integration of innovative technologies into the IT and OT networks of Airbus Aerostructures.

To achieve this, we diligently assess all changes, carefully analyzing risks and implementing effective mitigation strategies.

This role is also available with reduced weekly hours and an adapted scope of tasks.

Your location
You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Shape the future of cyber security by developing and maintaining robust standards for OT solutions.
  • Ensure the secure integration of new IT solutions and changes in IT architecture, safeguarding the integrity of hardware and software.
  • Stay at the forefront of digital IT security technologies, implementing and enhancing them to protect the OT environment.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and devise effective mitigation strategies to proactively address potential threats.
  • Analyze and resolve security issues, ensuring a safe and reliable operating environment.
  • Take the lead in project management activities for strategic projects, driving progress and achieving objectives.

Desired skills and qualifications

  • Hold a Bachelor's/Master's degree in a relevant field (STEM) and possess additional qualifications in cyber security, or demonstrate extensive experience in the cyber security domain.
  • Familiarity with Shop Floor processes, understanding the unique challenges and requirements of this environment.
  • Solid grasp of ISO/IEC 27001, ensuring adherence to industry best practices.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of effectively conveying complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management, with the ability to engage and collaborate with external service providers and suppliers.
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and German, enabling seamless collaboration within our international team.
