In order to support the Single Aisle Aerostructure & Industrial System Evolution Department, Airbus Operations is looking for a

**Werkstudent Single Aisle Industrial System Evolution (d/f/m)**:

- Location: Hamburg Finkenwerder
- Start: as soon as possible
- Duration: 12 months

We are a transnational team, leading the industrial Integration of Product Changes & Developments within the A320 Family for all FALs globally with an additional central view on the overall MAKE Value Stream, providing transparency & understanding of the Industrial System & challenges to influence future evolutions and manage the required changes.

**Definition working student**:
Working students are students who are enrolled at a University or some other institution of higher education, and who are employed in a reasonably long, fixed-term position parallel to their studies. This position must not be confused with an internship or with the possibility of writing a final thesis.

This employment usually takes place directly on the company's premises. A working student's main focus remains on their studies, which is why, during term-time, working students are not allowed to work more than 20 hours per week.

Working students therefore usually work near their place of study, so as to conveniently combine studying and employment.

**Your location**:
You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. **Your tasks and responsibilities**:

- Collecting, structuring, analyzing, reconfiguring & visualizing data and information, building communication and support to:

- Establishing value stream mapping or value stream analysis
- Establishing industrial layout sequencing and takt balancing
- Collecting and presenting data inputs/outputs of simulations
- supporting the team & providing ideas to automate / simplify current administrative tasks

**Desired skills and qualifications**:

- Enrolled full-time student (d/f/m) in the area of Aircraft / Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Information Management or an equivalent field of study.
- First practical experience in the field of modeling & simulation is desirable.
- Fluent English and German language skills; French is a bonus
- Proactive mindset, ability to structure your work and communicate your results
