Airbus Aerostructures includes four production sites in Germany: the headquarters in Hamburg with three other plants in Nordenham, Bremen and Stade where work goes on today on the aerostructures of tomorrow's aircraft.

In order to support our central operations team, Airbus Aerostructure GmbH is looking for a **Industrial Architect (d/f/m) **.**

Inside our team, we are responsible for the complete industrialization process covering three different job profiles. The industrial architect is responsible for defining the production concept, the industrial system engineer supports the concept creation with simulation, methodology and data analysis and is responsible for the early concept validation and the central industrial project manager is responsible for the execution of the industrialization concept.

You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. **Your tasks and responsibilities**:

- Define and Validate Top Level Industrial Requirements and create the Industrial Verification & Validation (V&V) plan in deep cooperation with the Airbus industrial architect community
- Define, negotiate and integrate manufacturing requirements in the product design, challenge and validate product definition dossier to secure industrial targets
- Influence technology and R&D roadmaps, perform Technology Selection Mapping, to develop the most cost-effective and efficient technologies to be included in the Build Concept or Industrial Trades
- Define Build Concept inside the Airbus Aerostructures GmbH (ASA), in order to establish the baseline architecture of an integrated industrial system, including the industrial structure breakdown, the definition of main material flow, the interfaces between factories and the logistic concept, up to the extended enterprise level
- Assess the industrial performances linked to the industrial concept, considering workload sizing, lead-time assessment (cycle time and critical path identification), rate & ramp-up, industrial costs RC (considering the main production operations) & NRC (considering number of stations, main jigs, tools and machines, conceptual plant layout)
- Support the industrial strategy of the Airbus Aerostructure

**Desired skills and qualifications**:

- You have a degree (at least 4 years) in engineering, industrial engineering, production technologies or a similar field
- Strong industrialization background (at least 2 years)
- Strong communication skills
- High degree of proactively and continuous improvement are essential to ensure the business result
- Basic knowledge of system engineering methodology
- Willingness to travel (1-2 times per month, mainly inside Germany)
- Competencies and proven skills in one of the following technologies:

- System installation
- Industrial tolerancing
- Composite industrialization
