The (**Senior) HR Business Partner** is responsible for the short and long-term strategic leadership of all aspects of HR within a vibrant operations/manufacturing function for approx. 150-200 ‘blue-collar’ associates.

The jobholder will collaborate with our HR Service Centre and Talent Acquisition, advise, counsel, and partner site leadership on all aspects of human resources (organizational design, engagement, complete employee lifecycle etc) challenge the status quo, champion new initiatives, be a catalyst of change, and continuously develop talent and drive improved performance.

The position is based 3-4 days a week at our Berlin Zehlendorf site and reports to a Senior HR Manager Operations.

**In this role, a typical day will look like**:

- You will be responsible for the entire employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding, succession planning, engagement survey & D&I strategy
- Deliver sustainable (change) projects, key HR initiatives, organisational changes, workforce mapping and capability planning, succession planning and talent management
- Integrate a coaching approach into interactions with leaders. Coach and build people leader capability to create a positive associate environment
- Collaborate with the functional leadership team on employee engagement initiative

**The essential requirements of the job include**
- Bachelor’s or Master degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field or Bachelor Professional (Personalkaufmann) with 5+ years of HR experience
- Experience consulting, coaching, and influencing leaders and managing expectations
- Strong executive presence, communication skills (fluent German & proficient English), emotional intelligence, collaboration and partnering skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization
- Experience working with a Works Council and sound knowledge of labour law
