The following aspects are required for the position:
- Teaching experience in the field of health sciences and/or social work
- Professional experience in the field of mental health and/or ageing
- Research and publication experience in the field of mental health with links to ageing
research (collaboration, coordination and/or management of research projects)

- Degree in human, social, societal or health sciences or equivalent
The following aspects are desirable for the position:
- Research focus in the area of development across the lifespan, prevention and
intervention of mental impairment, discrimination and participation research
- Didactic skills and a willingness to undertake further training in this area
- Completed further training (for example: Supervision, sociotherapy, psychotherapy,
specialist training, etc.)
- Experience in acquiring third-party funding
- Willingness to take on responsibility in the context of academic self-administration
The position is available for an unlimited period of time. When first appointed to a professorship,
employment is initially on a probationary civil service basis or on a permanent employment basis
with a three-year probationary period.
