Professor of Practice in Digital Finance and Technology

Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, a leading business school in Europe, is seeking a highly qualified individual to fill the position of Professor of Practice in Digital Finance and Technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research in digital finance and technologies, including blockchain, and provide leadership for the FS Blockchain Centre.
  • Develop and deliver high-quality degree and non-degree programs in blockchain, financial technologies, and related areas.
  • Oversee the development of new lines of activity for the FSBC and ensure its ongoing viability.
Requirements:
  • A sound understanding of finance and underlying technologies, including distributed ledger technologies and blockchain.
  • A doctoral degree in a related field and several years of academic experience with a strong publication profile.
  • Experience in obtaining project funding, project development, and execution, as well as teaching experience across different levels.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to represent Frankfurt School in the area of financial technology.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • A well-established national and international network.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset and ability to support entrepreneurial activities in the area of financial technology.
  • Experience in developing innovative programs and networking/communication formats.
