Head of Credit Risk (M/F/d)

Your tasks:
Credit risk plays a critical role in a trading organization as it represents the risk of financial loss from a counterparty's failure to fulfill its obligations. The role of credit risk management in our trading organization is to identify, measure, monitor, and control credit risk exposure. The Head of Credit Risk is consequently responsible for overseeing the credit risk management process of the organization and developing and monitoring risk management policies and practices that ensure the organization’s credit exposure is managed in a consistent and compliant manner.- Lead a team of highly skilled risk analysts with the goal of managing credit risk at Mabanaft- Developing and implementing credit policies and procedures, including credit limits, risk assessment, and monitoring processes.- Overseeing credit risk management, including the assessment of counterparty credit risk and the management of exposure to credit risk.- Monitoring and managing the credit risk associated with individual trades, ensuring that trades are conducted within approved credit limits.-
- Working closely with the front office, legal, and Treasury teams to manage trade documentation and credit exposure.- Providing regular credit risk updates to senior management and board members.
Your profile:
- Higher Education Degree with Business and Financial Statements focus.- Significant hands on experience (5-7 years) in the credit risk space, preferably in energy sector and international environment.- Strong interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management.- Proactive and motivated person with a strong drive to improve performance management and reporting processes.- Extensive experienced in financial statement analysis- Able to use initiative and work in a complex and dynamic environment.
