Vertical Advantage are excited to be partnering with a leading FMCG business based in the Düsseldorf region to recruit a Demand Planning Manager. This is a key strategic hire into the supply chain team, focused on driving excellence in demand planning and enhancing S&OP capabilities across the business.This is a high-impact role designed to build and optimise demand planning processes and collaboration with cross-functional teams across sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain. The successful candidate will play a crucial part in improving forecast accuracy and supporting the company’s continued growth across DACH and European markets.What’s in it for you?You’ll be joining a dynamic, fast-paced FMCG environment where your expertise will directly influence commercial outcomes. Reporting into the Head of Supply Chain, you’ll have the autonomy to shape the demand planning function while working closely with senior stakeholders.Hybrid working model (2-3 days in the office in the Düsseldorf region)Competitive salary and performance-based bonusOpportunity to contribute to supply chain excellence across a well-established and growing consumer brandA collaborative and international team cultureKey Responsibilities:Lead and continuously improve the demand planning process to drive forecast accuracy and alignment with commercial objectivesOwn and develop the monthly S&OP process, ensuring strong collaboration across departmentsManage demand forecasts for both existing product ranges and new product launches (NPD)Act as the key interface between supply chain, commercial, and finance teams to balance demand, supply, and inventory targetsDesign and roll out demand planning best practices, including tools, processes, and trainingAnalyse key data trends to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvementYour Profile:Degree educated or equivalent practical experienceProven experience in demand planning within an FMCG environment (e.g. food, beverage, personal care, or household products)Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detailConfident communicator with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholdersExperienced in using demand planning tools (e.g. SAP APO, Kinaxis, Anaplan, or similar)Fluent in English and conversational GermanApply now for more details.
